慕课教学模式在口腔正畸学教学中的应用(1)

     [摘要]目的:探讨慕课教学模式在本科生口腔正畸学教学中的应用效果。方法:设定2013级口腔医学专业41名学生为实验组,采用慕课教学+传统教学方式,对照组为采用传统教学模式的2012级40名学生。通过客观考试答题和主观问卷调查对慕课教学效果进行评估。结果:实验组及格率为97.56%,对照组及格率为95.00%,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);实验组80分以上为68.29%,明显高于对照组的45.00%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。调查问卷结果显示,90.00%以上的学生认为慕课教学法有助于加强学习自主性,提高学习效率及临床综合分析能力。结论:慕课作为传统教学的辅助教学利于提高口腔正畸学教学质量。

    Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of MOOC mode in undergraduate orthodontic teaching. Methods 41 undergraduate students from class of 2013 Oral Science program were set as the experimental group and were taught by MOOC combined with traditional teaching mode. Students from class of 2012 taught with traditional teaching mode were set as the control group. The teaching effectiveness of MOOC mode was evaluated by examination and questionnaire survey. Results The passing rate of the experimental group was 97.56%, and that of the control group was 95.00%, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The passing rate of the experimental group was 68.29%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (45.00%, P<0.05). More than 90.00% of the students believed that MOOC was helpful to improve their learning autonomy, efficiency as well as comprehensive clinical work ability. Conclusion As an ancillary strategy for traditional teaching, MOOC mode benefits the improvement of orthodontics teaching quality

    口腔正畸學是口腔本科生临床教学必不可缺的一门重要课程,知识点多,广泛牵涉生物力学、材料学、美学、心理学等学科内容[1]。由于学时所限,在有限的教学时间内,学生很难完全理解掌握课堂知识,达到理论和临床的贯通,需要利用课余时间进一步深入学习消化。而慕课(Massive online open courses,MOOC)[2]这一新型教学方式的出现打破了传统教学在时间和空间上的限制,它所具备的自由性、开放性的特点,利于学生进行自主学习,实现学生的自我提升[3-4]。

    为了提高口腔正畸学的教学质量,更好地帮助学生完成口腔正畸学课堂理论教学和课余自学二者的衔接,将慕课教学引入2013级口腔正畸学本科生教学,初步探讨了慕课教学模式在口腔正畸学教学中的应用,以期为正畸学多元化教学方式提供参考。

    1 资料和方法

    1.1 一般资料:选取西安交通大学口腔医学院2013级口腔医学专业学生41名为实验组,采用慕课和传统教师授课为主的传统教学方式(Lessons-based learning, LBL)相结合的教学模式,对其教学效果进行评估,并与未采用慕课教学法的2012级40名口腔医学专业学生(对照组)的考试成绩进行比较。

    1.2 方法
